Every fly angler dreams of having the opportunity to get in the water with a giant tarpon. Cradling a poon on a shallow white sand bar in the Florida Keys can be extremely difficult. Not only do you have to land the fish you have to do it with in close range of a spot like this. Pulling all these factors together can be a challenge of a lifetime. This angler was lucky enough to live it!
