Step 1
Start the thread behind the eye and wrap back to the hook bend. Tie in a grizzly hackle by its butt end at the bend of the hook.
Step 2
Return the thread to the front of the hook and tie in several peacock herls just behind the eye.
Step 3
Wrap back over the herls to the bend and return the thread to the eye.
Step 4
Wrap the peacock forward to the eye and tie off. Clip the excess.
Step 5
Spiral wrap the feather forward over the peacock to the eye and tie off. Clip the excess feather and whip finish the thread.
