Hook: TMC 5263 #4-10
Cone: Sized to hook, Gold
Thread: 3/0 Monocord
Rib: Brassie Sized Wire
Body: Sparkle Braid
Wing: Pine Squirrel Strip
Collar: Pine Squirrel Strip, wrapped

Place the cone on the hook and slide it up to the eye. Start the thread behind the cone and wrap a thread base back to the bend. Return the thread to just behind the cone.

Tie in both the wire and the sparkle braid at the front of the hook and wrap back over both of them to the bend. Return the thread to the front of the hook.

Part the hair on a squirrel strip and tie it in on top of the shank at the bend of the hook.

Pull the squirrel strip back out of the way and wrap the sparkle braid forward to the front of the hook and tie it off. Clip the excess.

Pull the squirrel strip forward over the sparkle braid and tie it off at the front of the body.

Wrap the wire forward through the squirrel strip wing to the front and tie off. Clip the excess wire.

Place a drop of Zap Gel Superglue into the back of the cone.

Wrap the remaining squirrel strip around the hook three times at the front of the body. Tie the strip off with a few firm wraps of thread. Clip the excess strip as close as you can.

Press the cone back against the front of the collar until the glue grabs. Clip the thread.
