Bonefish and Their Secret Lives

Bonefish and Their Secret Lives

Dana Dribben captured this underwater footage of bonefish feeding on the grass flats near the boat launch of Deep Water Cay with a GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition camera.

We've all seen the telltale "puff" of sand when a bonefish eats our fly, but we've rarely seen it from this perspective. I found it pretty interesting that the same bonefish (or multiple bonefish) seemed to root in the exact same spot, as if they could smell a worm or crab there that they just couldn't ferret out.
