The Fly Fishing Show, the premier consumer show for fly anglers, is set to begin its multi-city 2025 tour this weekend in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The three-day events feature exhibitors from all over the world, as well as educational seminars and demonstrations. Attendees can also participate in casting pools and fly-tying demonstrations.

Whether you're looking to enhance your skills, discover new gear, or connect with fellow fly-fishing enthusiasts, the 2025 Fly Fishing Show offers a comprehensive experience for all attendees.

Fly Fishing Show Highlights

  • International Fly Fishing Film Festival (IF4): Exclusive screenings showcasing the latest fly fishing films.
  • Women's Showcase: Dedicated programs focusing on women's contributions to fly fishing, including discussions, presentations, and networking opportunities. Notably, the Denver show will feature a fashion show on Sunday at noon, highlighting brands like Catchflo, Simms, and Fishewear.
  • Learning Center: Complimentary fly-fishing instruction provided by Fly Fishers International (FFI), covering fly casting, tying, and knot techniques.
  • Classes with Experts: Limited-attendance sessions offering personalized instruction to enhance casting, tying, and fishing techniques.
  • Teen Fly Fishing Opportunities: Students attending the show can enter a drawing for a complimentary fishing trip with Fish for Change, emphasizing conservation and cultural exchange.
  • Exhibitions and Gear Demonstrations: Attendees can explore the latest in fly-fishing equipment, with opportunities for hands-on demonstrations and interactions with industry experts.
  • Special Guests and Live Podcasts: Features include live podcast recordings, musical performances, and appearances by notable figures in the fly-fishing community like Tom Rosenbauer, Jeff Currier, Pat Dorsey, Brian O’Keefe, George Daniel, Gary Borger, Bruce Chard, and more. Notably, Landon Mayer will not be in attendance, as he is recovering from a recent spinal injury (click here to support Mayer's recovery).

A special presentation is slated for January 25 at the Edison, New Jersey show when the American Museum of Fly Fishing will posthumously honor legendary fly tier Bob Popovics with the 2025 Izaak Walton Award during the show.

Tens of thousands of dollars in door prizes will be awarded including trips to some of the best fishing destinations across the globe.
