Simms Fishing Products made a strong showing at the 2024 ICAST show with four Best in Category awards at the ASA New Product Showcase Reception.

Simms Fishing Products made a strong showing at the 2024 ICAST show with four Best in Category awards at the ASA New Product Showcase Reception. Simms also unveiled its upcoming Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 collections. Here's a breakdown of their winning products:

"We're excited to unveil these collections," Patterson Leeth, Simms' Director of Marketing, said in a press release. "They embody our dedication to craftsmanship and innovation, ensuring anglers of all disciplines can comfortably enjoy their time on the water."

Grundens also came to play with wins in the Best Fly-Fishing Waders and Wading Boots category for its Vector Zip Stockingfoot Wader, Fly-Fishing Technical Fly Fishing Technical & General Apparel award for its Portal Wading Jacket, and Warm Weather Technical Apparel for Men with its Tough Sun Masked Hoodie.

Scientific Anglers’ new Magnitude Smooth Tarpon Full Clear Fly Line won the Fly Lines, Leaders, Tippet and Line Accessories category, and Costa took home the Best Eyewear award for its 580G Gold Mirrored Lens in Grand Catalina frames.

The Best Fly Fishing Rod went to Temple Fork Outfitters for its Elevare rod and the Hardy Averon won for Best Fly Fishing Reel. The Fly Fishing Rod & Reel Combo award went to Shakespeare for its Cedar Canyon Fly Combo, the Fly Fishing Tools & Accessories award went to AFN Fishing & Outdoors for its Xtreme Pliers 140mm, and Renzetti’s C2303-MR vise won the Fly Tying Vises, Tools & Materials award.
