Ben Furimsky is the owner and operator of the Fly Fishing Show, the largest consumer show in the fly-fishing industry. The Fly Fishing Show travels around the United States educating and entertaining anglers from January to March. Furimsky is an accomplished fly fisher who has travelled to the far reaches of the globe, most recently to Mongolia to catch and help implant tracking devices in taimen. His shows, films, adventures, and connections to all the experts and celebrities in the business make him one of the most influential people in the sport of fly fishing today.

And I, I think the, the mentors like these guys, like if you look at people like Joe and Lefty, like one of the things that they left is that they brought people along, like Blane Chocklett and George Daniel.

I watch his presentations. He's a great instructor. Yeah, yeah. And presenter and everything. And you had a great mentor. He, he learned from one of the best, you'll learn something, even if it's like, say he's doing a talk on Euro nymphing and you're not interested in it, you're still gonna learn something. Even if you're not a Euro nympher about, you know, feeding a fish or behavior or where they live or something, you're gonna learn something from him because he, he really has a lot of information and he delivers it well, and he packs it in there. Just like, if you've ever read one of his books, it's like, yeah. Over information, you know, dense. Yeah. Awesome.
