Simms Fishing Products has announced the release of its all-new Pro Dry Suit, a state-of-the-art foul-weather outfit designed to meet the demands of anglers facing extreme conditions. According to a press release, the jacket-and-bib combination, crafted with 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric, combines durability, mobility, and weatherproofing to provide anglers with peak performance.
The Pro Dry Suit was initially tailored for competitive bass anglers but has since expanded to serve a broader audience. It’s meant for serious and diverse fishing scenarios, from pursuing striped bass in the Northeast to fly fishing in Louisiana marshlands or even Bahamian bonefishing. It earned the title of Best Cold Weather Technical Apparel at ICAST 2024 .

The new Pro Dry Suit leverages the 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro Shell fabric for weather resistance and breathability. The new design boasts greater durability in high-wear areas and improved flexibility for ease of movement.
The jacket features a 3-way adjustable hood which preserves peripheral vision with a high collar for added protection. It includes two exterior zippered chest pockets, one internal zippered chest pocket, and a sunglass chamois integrated into the left chest pocket. The articulated sleeves and adjustable cuffs are designed for mobility with single-hand cuff adjustments to keep water out.
The bibs feature abrasion-resistant reinforced areas on the knees and seat, handwarmer pockets, a stretch-woven chest pocket, an interior drop pocket, and a water-resistant thigh pocket for secure storage. The two-way side zippers allow easy access while wearing boots.

Simms also introduced a new Driftwood colorway alongside the classic black.
