Start the thread at the 80 % point and wrap over the tag end to the bend of the hook. Leave the tag hanging on top of the shank.

Tying The RS2 Step 2 of 6

Tie two Microfibetts in at the bend of the hook so they are about a shank length long.

Tying The RS2 Step 3 of 6

Pull the tag end of the thread up between the tails to separate them and tie the tag end down with a few tight wraps. Cut the butt ends of the tails and the tag end flush at the 80% point.

Tying The RS2 Step 4 of 6

Dub a thin tapered abdomen from the base of the tail to the 80% point.

Tying The RS2 Step 5 of 6

Tie in a clump of white antron behind the eye and wrap back over it to the base of the thorax.

Tying The RS2 Step 6 of 6

Dub the thorax from the eye to the base of the wing and back again. Whip finish and clip the thread. Trim the wing to a short stub.
