Rib: Fine Copper Wire


Head: Black Superfine Dubbing

Tying The Black Beauty

Tying The Black Beauty Step 1 of 4

Start the thread just behind the hook eye. Tie in a piece of copper wire at the front of the hook.

Tying The Black Beauty Step 2 of 4

Wrap back over the wire forming a smooth body back to about halfway down the hook bend. Return the thread to the starting point.

Tying The Black Beauty Step 3 of 4

Spiral wrap the wire forward over the body to the front and tie off. Break off the excess wire.

Tying The Black Beauty Step 4 of 4

Dub a small ball of dubbing at the head behind the eye. Whip finish and clip the thread.
