Lemon Shark on Fly, Baby

lemon shark

Shark fishing with a fly rod often leaves you with a melted fly reel and endless severed wire tippets.  This lemon shark didn't get away from this Key West fly angler.

The Florida Keys offers some of the best fly fishing for sharks with some of the best shark guides in the world.  Many guides and anglers team up regularly to target lemons, black tips, tigers and bull sharks that frequent the warm nearby shallow waters of the Florida Keys.

Stay tuned for some in-depth fly fishing for shark posts in the near future.
