Point Break (Fly Fishing Version)

Point Break (Fly Fishing Version)

Point Break, starring Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze, and Gary Busey, is one of those iconic examples of a bad movie that was wildly popular in its day. Its short list of awards include the MTV Movie Award for "Most Desirable Leading Male" (Keanu Reeves). In retrospect it should have won an Oscar for "Best Overacting & Corny Dialogue." If you're a fan of bad movies in general, you'll love this fly-fishing parody of Point Break starring Justin Karnopp as special agent Montana (Keanu Reeves was special agent Utah in the original) and Jed Fiebelkorn taking the role played by Patrick Swayze. In the final fight scene Karnopp makes a fair accounting of himself considering Feibelkorn used to play pro hockey and was likely in quite a few scraps . . . on the other hand, Karnopp is a UFC fan, that's likely where he picked up that nifty reversal maneuver.
