After you hook up that shallow water tailing bonefish clear that line on the real and then raise your rod as high as you can. Check out the photo and you will notice the rod arm fully extending to the sky trying to create a higher angler of the leader in the water. This high angle will help to clear any possible small chunks of coral or turtle grass that can get caught on you leader as fish rips across the shallows. If your rod angle is to low and your leader gets caught you rick the chance of a break off.
