Scientific Anglers Micro Swivels

Scientific Anglers Micro Swivels

Conventional anglers have been using swivels for decades to prevent line twist, but swivels can also help improve almost any kind of fly-fishing leader. They will help your dry flies land right side up, allow you to connect heavy line to much thinner line, and provide an easy connection point when you need to rebuild. For most trout fishing, use the x-small 25-pound-test size. For streamer fishing, big poppers, or giant muskie flies, you can use the small 40-pound-test size. There are ten swivels per package. $10 | scientificanglers.com
