The leaders come in five colors: willow (floating), pale green (hover), light blue (intermediate), dark green (sink 3), and charcoal (sink 6).

They have a printed line ID on the butt end and a loop to attach to the fly line, and on the business end, there is a micro swivel that makes it super easy to attach a tippet without using a blood knot. The swivel also helps avoid line twist with large flies. There’s no swivel on the floating version.

They come in 7- and 10-foot lengths and are built on a 25-pound-test monofilament core. A complete kit with all the leaders costs $84.95.
