Professional guides, as well as passionate fly fishers, put tremendous demands on their feet—and on their wading boots—season after season. And they need the best traction possible in all sorts of conditions. That’s why Simms has developed the all-new G4 Pro Powerlock Boots. They are the most durable and rugged (not to mention technologically advanced) boots in the comprehensive Simms wading line. These boots are designed and constructed to stand up to as much rough use or abuse as hardcore fly fishers and guides can possibly dish out.

Simms G4 Pro Powerlock Boots are built with rugged, waterproof Lorenzi synthetic leather uppers, fortified with extra overlays in high-abrasion zones to enhance durability. The holes for the boot laces are precision laser-cut for a solid, customizable fit every time.

Inside, the G4 Pro Powerlock Boots have a partial neoprene lining for comfort, making it super-easy to slip on your boots in the morning and slide them off after a long day. The dual-density EVA midsoles help keep your feet comfortable, even during long hours of strenuous wading on jagged stream bottoms. The integrated molded arch supports and molded heel cups enhance stability for your hardworking feet during long, grueling hours of trying to maintain your balance balancing atop slick rocks in rushing current.

G4 Pro Powerlock Boots are available with felt or Vibram IdroGrip soles. Both soles have the innovative Simms Integrated Powerlock Cleat System, which allows you to mix and match the bottom-gripping cleats however you like, to match any wading conditions you might face during a given fishing day—from soft, squishy sand and gravel to rounded, slippery, moss-covered rocks that feel like greased bowling balls under your feet.

All Simms G4 Pro Powerlock Boots ship with one set of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) cleats, and another set of aluminum cleats, along with a custom-designed wrench that makes it easy to install and remove both kinds of cleats in minutes, right on the stream.
