Simms Vapor Elite

Simms Vapor Elite

Whether you are in the Caribbean or Amazonia, you still need a rain jacket to deal with periodic torrential downpours. The Simms Vapor Elite jacket packs down small into a pouch the size of a lunch burrito, and weighs about 13 ounces. That makes it easier to meet the weight limit on your final charter flight into the fishing lodge. More important, it’s easier to find room for it in your fishing pack, in the helicopter, or in the flats skiff, so you actually have the jacket when you need it. Despite the package size, the jacket made from Toray breathable fabric still has plenty of features, including a waterproof YKK Vislon zipper, two zippered hand pockets, a zippered internal pocket, and a three-way adjustable tuck-away storm hood. $280 |
