Sweetwater Mosaic Single Hop Hazy IPA

Use hashtag #FishForAFish and SweetWater will donate to the Ga. DNR to help protect Georgia's trout waters.

Sweetwater Mosaic Single Hop Hazy IPA

Available in 12-oz cans in six-packs or in SweetWater’s fall IPA variety pack.

SweetWater Brewing Company’s Mosaic Single Hop Hazy IPA is a lightly fruity, not-too-hoppy, eminently drinkable beer, perfect for a mid-river toast. At 6.2% ABV, it’s maybe a wee heavy for an all-day float beer, but who am I to say, when it tastes so good?

It is packaged in limited-edition stackable fish cans, which feature artwork that can be stacked to create an image of a trout. This is part of SweetWater’s campaign to raise money for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to make trout fishing accessible and promote trout habitat conservation.

SweetWater is encouraging anglers to take a few cans of Mosaic to their favorite honey hole and stack them together for a fish picture. For every photo shared on social media with the hashtag #FishForAFish, SweetWater will make a donation to the GADNR to help stock trout in Atlanta's Chattahoochee River and protect Georgia's trout waters.

Some more details:

  • IBUs:70
  • Hops: Mosaic
  • Malts: 2-Row, Munich, wheat
  • Available in 12-oz cans in six-packs or in SweetWater’s fall IPA variety pack.

I for one am hoping that SweetWater makes it a year-round brew as I could easily get used to the fresh, clean and sweet flavor, especially when it supports trout conservation.
