This bonefish leader formula works great for me and can be used in many different salt water applications fishing for redfish, sea trout, snook and many other species. The video below shows you step by step how to build one yourself and breaks down the number of turns per sections on the blood knots. Many anglers love this video so check it out. I like to blood knot all the sections together and use a perfection loop on the butt section connection to the fly line. I also like to make each section an equal length as so transfer energy smoothly all the way to the fly.
